WHOA! Even though I know they had fun, I can't figure out how you got them in the house semi-neatly...for some reason, I kinda feel like sticking my feet in that mud hole too! You are brave! :)
There are pics of me and my brother doing this exact thing on the farm, probably around 1980...(I think we had on a few less clothes!) - I don't remember our mudbath very clearly, but I remember how fun it was - and we LOVE the pictures - all these years later! Your kids will too!
Seriously, I just got chills and a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach from the mess, but then I can see how incredibly fun it was for them... So I know it's all worth it. But WOW! You're a good mom.
I LOVE that you let your kids play in the mud. It's interesting to clean up but they love it so much; it's so worth it! They're REALLY being kids!! :) I also love that you take pictures of it rather than try to stop them. That's what I hope I'd do--go grab the camera to take a picture of the fun and of the ridiculous mess and not worry about the mess part so much.
